One Small Move

Invite a small, slow wave through your upper spine. Feel the quiet unfolding, a gentle stretch between your shoulder blades.

Take a slow breath in. As you gently breathe out, feel your shoulders soften, perhaps melting a little further from your ears. Notice what happens next.

Let your shoulders soften. Imagine them melting away from your ears. Feel a quiet widening across your collarbones, a gentle release.

Imagine your upper back could softly spiral. Feel for a sense of quiet widening between your shoulder blades as you gently turn.

Breathe in, slowly. As you breathe out, invite your shoulders to soften, feeling a release.

Gently open your mouth a tiny bit, letting the jaw hang. Notice the softness spreading from the hinges, down into your cheeks.

Gently trace a tiny, slow spiral with your wrist. Notice any soft unfolding, a quiet sense of give.

Take a slow breath in. As you gently breathe out, feel your shoulders soften, releasing any subtle hold and settling softly.

Stand tall, sweep your arms out and up like wings, then float them down on an exhale.

Gently draw your shoulders up to your ears, hold, then let them drop completely.

Sit back, close your eyes, and take three breaths you actually feel.

Shake out your hands for a few seconds, like flicking off water. Then rest them.

Tilt your head back a little and open the front of your throat for one slow breath.

Breathe in for four, out for six. Let the shoulders fall on the out-breath.

Interlace your fingers and push your palms away from you, rounding the upper back.

Lengthen your spine, then let your gaze and your shoulders soften at the same time.

Stand up, rise onto your toes, then lower slowly. Do it a few times to wake the legs.

Circle your wrists slowly, both directions. Small joints carry a lot of the day.

Reach one arm across your chest and hold it gently with the other. Breathe. Switch sides.

Drop your shoulders, soften your eyes, and unstick your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
